Each stage is researched, relived, revered and rejoiced as an oppourtunity for good quality, material exploration, people management and design-build skills.
Process
Akarmaa believes making and becoming as a parallel process. The coming together of different people ideas and skill sets to produce good honest and efficient work is an important as the process the intent and the learning that shape us. This leaves us with many stories and new friendships with the craftsperson we work with. The process thus becomes ancecdotes to architects and artists at work
Build
Akarmaa is gradually exploring the practice of design and build that weaves together the designs generated at the studio the interactions with user the workmen and the students of architecture the understanding of a drawing and the experience with workmen on site builds empathy in the designers and brings a sense of gratification on seeing the lines on paper create volume.
